Before we start blogging we have to make certain important decisions. I will discuss certain things that have to be done in the following article!
1.The theme:
Before starting our first blog we have to choose a theme that is at least somewhat close to us – a theme that we would like to browse through in our spare time. If we chose a theme that brings us happiness we have a bigger chance of succeeding online.
2.Domain:
The second step is to choose a relevant domain name. If we decide to use our blog to write about fitness we can, for example, choose the following: instantlyfitness.com. We can also choose to end it with .net or .org but we must point out, that the .com has the biggest authority online.
3.Hosting:
We also have to think about hosting, as the internet today offers many options to choose from but not all of the providers are of the best quality. I myself tried out many hosting providers and from my personal experience, I can say that I am most satisfied with the provider Siteground.com.
4.Content:
The content of the articles we choose to post on our blog has to be unique. Plagiarism is not tolerated online which means we have to write the articles ourselves or hire an experienced writer. If we choose to do so, we have to check their work before posting it via Prepostseo.com.
5.Photographs:
We need to have the copyright for all of the photographs that we post on our blog. We should never take them from another website unless it is a stock website meant for that purpose. We can post photographs from the following pages: Unsplash.com, Gratisography.com, Stocksnap.io, Lifeofpix.com, Snapwiresnaps.tumblr.com.
6.Platform:
We can set our blog up on different platforms. We can choose between: WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, Wix and many others. The platform that I personally use the most is WordPress which is also the most user-friendly and easy to use.
7.Theme:
Our blog has to have a certain theme which also has to be mobile user-friendly. You can use the following link to make sure the website is, in fact, mobile user-friendly. More and more people use mobile devices for their work so its best that the theme you chose is fully compatible with such devices. If that’s not the case, choose another theme and try again.
So that are 7 things that are in my opinion important before you start blogging.
