Do you know how to set up the perfect landing page?…
Many bloggers could say that the landing page is the place where we should have the next 5 things:
1.A form to collect email addresses. 2.A gift that is given in exchange for the email. 3.A mention of one benefit that is the result of collecting email. 4.A short introduction on who we are and what we’re trying to reach in life. 5.A nice, attractive picture to feature in the background.
All together it looks like the main reason of the website is to just collect emails and not do anything else. All we can see is a little text, a nice but huge picture in the background and a big form to collect emails.
That’s how many bloggers nowadays set up their landing page. After that, they start bringing in the visitors by using Google, Facebook or Yahoo advertising.
…Well, I can’t say that the method is bad but I can say it never worked for me personally.
I only saw real effect after I used paid advertisements to direct people to my landing page which was created by following the five steps listed below:

1.Step one – Find a profitable keyword:
If we want to advertise ourselves on the browsers Yahoo, Google or Bing we have to find a profitable keyword.
If, for example, our blog focuses on weight loss, a profitable keyword could be: how to lose weight with coconut oil.
2.Step two – Write an article that focuses on the chosen keyword:
After we do so we have to write a good article that focuses on the chosen keyword. Invest some energy in it and make it useful to your readers.
At the beginning of the article use some words that will make you more connected with your readers. You can do so by asking them in what way they’re trying to make their lives better.
After the question, we can show them that they can achieve anything in their lives and then start writing about our chosen theme. We should include only the best information in the article.
3.Step three – Include some nice pictures:
We shouldn’t forget about the pictures. Find only the best ones to use and know that it’s worth taking some time.
If you have any friends that work as a professional photographer I’m sure they can tell you that good photos are what make the sale.
That is a valid point in any business we work in as we are all visual creatures who like to buy with their eyes. That is why we can notice such a big array of catchy product packaging in the local supermarkets – they just suck us in.
So the right thing to do is to design our blog in the same way. Include nice pictures as they will motivate the reader to read the full article.
4.Step four – Include a form to collect emails:
One of the important steps is to also include a form to collect emails in our article but to do so in a natural manner. We shouldn’t make it look forced.
We can do so by writing our article until we reach the point when we say that they can find out more by signing up for our email newsletter.
5.Step five– Offer a gift in exchange for their email:
We shouldn’t forget about this. Offer a gift to your online visitors – it should be relevant to the things we write in our article.
If we talk about weight loss we can offer a free e-book that reveals 5 tricks that can help us with weight loss.
We have to know that the more attractive the gift is, the more likely it is for them to give up their email address, so take your time when creating this last step.
And that’s it!
That’s the method that worked for me. If you invest some of your energy into creating the landing page people will be more than happy to subscribe to your newsletter.
You should know that with this method you can get emails of higher quality compared to those you receive through a page that is dedicated just to collecting emails.
People visiting your page actually take their time to read the article all the way to the end. Such people will be more than happy to read what we send them in the future! We all know that is the most important part of any email marketing scheme.
