If you ask them how they made millions of dollars in their field they would all probably say one thing: with knowledge.
Yes, knowledge truly is the most important thing so we also need it when blogging if we want to succeed. I discovered that through my experience and you can do so as well!

My experience with blogging – What works and what doesn’t:
To generate a good income in the 8-years I’ve been blogging I tried out many things.
I will use this article to tell you exactly what worked for me and what didn’t!
1.Web visitors:
We all know that online visitors are what brings us the money. If we have a blog but no visitors we can say it is the same as a store without any customers.
So what we have to do is improve our blog and bring in as many monthly visitors as possible. More visitors that we bring in, the bigger our monthly income will be.
What didn’t work for me?
When I started working on blog optimization I saw, how much time it really takes. I wanted to optimize my blog in a way to gain free visitors through the browser Google.
Of course I succeeded but I expected much better results looking at how much time and effort I put into it.
When optimizing a blog I don’t like how much time it takes and the fact that you have to wait for 3 to 4 months before getting any free visitors through Google.
What worked for me?
The best thing that works for me today is paid advertising on social media platform Facebook and the browsers Google and Bing.
In this way, I get instant results. A good side of paid advertising is also the fact that it brings in only quality visitors.
2.Email marketing:
If we want to earn well with our blog we have to set up an email marketing system which is connected to our blog. If we don’t have email marketing our visitors come and go while such marketing gives us a bigger chance to make money.
That’s what all of the successful bloggers today say…The email marketing is the most important thing and in my experience, each email I gain brings me 2-3 dollars every month.
What didn’t work for me?
When I first started with email marketing I set up the entire system in a completely wrong way. I didn’t take enough time to set everything up and didn’t have enough experience.
My first email marketing wasn’t set up as well as it has to be so I can say I wasted a lot of money and time by trying.
That wasn’t nice at all!
After two months of testing and wasting money on ads, I soon discovered that making money online is not that simple. If I want to profit with email marketing I have to keep trying!

I believe many bloggers have such issues with email marketing. In the beginning we all think it’s really easy and are naive so we set up the email marketing in a really short time.
We want to see the results right away but it is not that easy as otherwise, anyone could be successful online.
As a result of that, the successful people online are those, who are ready to rise after they “fall” and continue working until they reach the needed knowledge.
What worked for me?
After I searched for what works and what doesn’t online I had already spent money for different educational programs but I finally found the right thing.

3.Writing articles:

In my opinion good content is interesting and teaches you at the same time. It allows you to always learn something new.
What didn’t work for me?
When I tried to write about something that doesn’t interest me I didn’t succeed. Writing became boring while the articles were low-quality.
When I tried to write about something I don’t like at all I wanted to quit blogging.
What worked for me?
When I started to write articles that focus on a theme I really like I finally discovered the true beauty of blogging. I started to enjoy my work and managed to generate a nice online income through my hobby.
I discovered that good articles are the basis of owning a good and successful blog. If we want our posts to truly be good we have to use it to share our opinion in certain field.
Believe it or not but the articles are what brings the largest chunk of online sales.
